Annotation: The aim is to give students information about basic optical 3D sensors.

Course review:
1. Basic definitions - definition of a 3D sensor, definition of optically smooth and optically rough surface, definition of the problem of the measurement, explanation of the coherent speckle, explanation of the meaning of characteristic quantities. 2. Classification of optical 3D sensors according to the principle: - triangulation (laser triangulation, phase measuring triangulation, confocal microscopy),- white-light interferometry (white-light interferometry in time domain, white-light interferometry with spetral decomposition (in frequency domain), optical coherent tomography (OCT)), - deflectometry,- classical interferometry. 3. Speckle interferometry - methods based on principles of photography, correlation and optical shear, TV-Holography. 4. Yamaguchi's method and its applications. 5. Specifications of experiments in the science and in disciplines of wave and statistical optics.
