Annotation: To give students an idea of the relations of art and sci-ence in the past and in the present: how art helps sci-ence and how science helps art.

Course review:
The lecture will introduce significant examples of artists interest in science and scientists about art, the cross-roads of art and science during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Another part of the issue show students the ability of work of art to communicate the essential facts about the world and man from the 19th century to the present. The last part of the course will be given to cases of such events, when art deserved of scientific knowledge, and others when science contributed to outstanding works of art. The workshop will focus on discussion and exchange of ideas among teachers and students.
