Work safety, effects of electric current on human organism, injury by electric current, protection of live and dead parts of the electric device, first aid for injury by electric current, fire protection. 1. Electrostatics - experiments with Van de Graaff generator. 2. Electric current in metal (wire resistance, the dependence of electrical resistance of metallic conductors on its geometrical dimensions, material and temperature), Ohm's law. 3. Electric current in an electrolyte (electrolysis, lead-acid battery). 4. Electric current in gas (non-independent and independent electrical discharge in a gas at normal pressure, discharge in a dilute gas, Ruhmkorff's transformer). 5. Electric current in a semiconductor (diode current-voltage characteristic). 6.
