Annotation: This study course is concentrated on basic information and knowledge on trends in the education in the Czech Republic in a wider socio-political and cultural context. The attention is devoted to the aims and principles of the education. The students become acquainted with the procedures and functions of the teacher in the teaching. The scopes of this course include:

  • familiarization with basic tendencies of the school politics of the Czech Republic and understanding of the principles of the school politics
  • integration of some knowledge from pedagogy and psychology
  • understanding of role of the student in the educational process
