Annotation: Students will obtain an overview of ICT tools (information & communication technologies) in teaching sciences. These possibilities include basic tools for computer measurements (data processing, procedure management), understanding their principles, capabilities, as well as limits; basic tools for modelling and simulations (including internet tools); work in a virtual laboratory, especially in applets/physlets, understanding their capabilities and limits; work in a remote laboratory, ability to use it effectively, to understand its capabilities and limits; and knowledge of appropriate freeware, shareware and software applicable in teaching and learning process.
